Jimmy Carr has revealed that he nearly died as a child, as he opens up about battling meningitis.The comedian, 51, recalled the horrific time during an appearance on the podcast Where There's A Will, There's A Wake. So my first memory is a lumbar puncture in Limerick in the General [hospital] "I was three, I think, and I was always told it was very close to death," he said, before explaining how his sense of humour helped him through the terrifying time.
