Friday Night Dinner star Rosalind Knight has died, aged 87. Knight appeared in the Channel 4 sitcom as Horrible Grandma.
She is also known for her roles in the Carry On films Carry On Teacher and Carry On Nurse, as well as the Kathy Burke sitcom Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, in which she played Beryl. Knight was also a theatre star and appeared opposite Vanessa Redgrave in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of As You Like It in 1961.
