More than 60 food items have been recalled by manufacturers amid fears of a possible E.coli outbreak that has left people across the UK in hospital.

A man who died after being struck by a motorbike while crossing the road in Oldham has been named as Tim Scratcherd.
Emergency services, including police officers, fire crews and paramedics, were called to a crash on Ripponden Road at around 4pm on Saturday, May 18. A man, aged in his 70s, tragically died at the scene. He has since been named by friends as Tim Scratcherd.
In an appeal issued the following day, Greater Manchester Police said enquiries had revealed Mr Scatcherd was crossing Ripponden Road when he was hit by a motorbike.

The rider of the bike - a man aged in his 20s - was also rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains there for treatment.
A spokesperson for Rochdale Coroners' Court confirmed to the Manchester Evening News that Mr Scratcherd’s death has been referred to the coroner.
Today, tributes are being paid to Tim by his friends and colleagues.
Mark Chambers began working with Tim, an educational technology consultant, more than 30 years ago on projects to help develop the computing curriculum in schools.
He said: “Tim was very involved in the development of what students studied in school in computing and IT and was very innovative in his practice. He was always trying to find new ways of opening our understanding of technology to young people so they could be responsible users and better informed about technology.
