"My heart breaks...such a beautiful soul": Tributes flood in for mum, 46, with 'heart of gold' who died after being struck by train

Tributes have continued to flood in for a 'bubbly' mum with a 'heart of pure gold' who tragically died after being struck by a train near Stockport. Jill Canovan was discovered near Heaton Chapel railway station just after 4am on Monday (June 3).
Emergency services rushed to the area but the mum-of-two was pronounced dead at the scene. She was just 46-years-old and leaves behind her devastated daughters Amber, 25 and Jordan, 23.
Daughter Amber previously told the Manchester Evening News that Jill was a 'lovely' woman who would 'do anything for anyone'. She has since set up a GoFundMe to help give her mum 'the best send off', with almost £9,000 raised so far.

Jill, also called Jill Parton, lived in Heaton Chapel and was well known from her time as landlady of The Crown pub near Stockport Viaduct.
Following her death, tributes flooded in on social media. One person worte: "Such a big character with a beautiful soul. Certainly will be missed by all who knew you Jill xx".
Another penned: "Oh Jill, my heart breaks knowing how you passed away. Your going to be missed by so many who loved you. You had a heart of pure gold and would help anyone. Will never forget you" as a third wrote: "We all love you so much I wish you knew just how much you were loved. Always in our hearts and never forgotten."
Speaking for the first time about the tragedy, her daughter Amber told the Manchester Evening News her family are struggling to come to terms with their monumental loss. “I literally had nothing in my brain,” she said as she recalled the moment she was given the news.
“I just felt numb. I still don’t feel like it’s real.
