Pearl Jam announce new studio album ‘Gigaton’

New York experimental quartet altopalo have announced their sophomore album. It’s called farawayfromeveryoneyouknow and it arrives April 24 via Samedi. Ahead of the new record, they’ve shared the new single “honey,” as well as a string of North American tour dates. In honor of Jan. 27, or 1/27, K-pop boy band NCT 127 shared their take on classic boy band R&B balladry with their song “Dreams Come True” and announced their upcoming Neo Zone LP.

Pearl Jam unveiled its upcoming 11th studio album “Gigaton” today at NeueHouse in Los Angeles during an intimate playback in Dolby Atmos sound — complete with frontman Eddie Vedder pouring tequila shots for attendees while the music blared. As previously reported, “Gigaton” will be released March 27 on the band’s Monkeywrench imprint through Republic, and is preceded by the Talking Heads-tinged first single “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” which dropped earlier this week.

Dungen have announced Live, a new live album recorded in their native Sweden back in 2015. Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have announced a new multi-camera sitcom for Adult Swim titled Beef House. According to a press release, the series is “about five men—Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, Ron Auster, Ben Hur, Tennessee Luke—and Eric’s wife Megan, living under one roof.” Tim’s character is “a laid-back rock-and-roll slacker,” and Eric’s is “a high-strung stay-at-home husband.”

Moby just announced his 16th studio album, and he promises to donate all proceeds to a range of charities and organizations dedicated to a more sustainable future for all living creatures on Earth. It's a dance-heavy LP called All Visible Objects, and it's scheduled for full release March 6.
