Nicki Minaj has apologised to fans for having to postpone her show in Manchester last night (May 25), saying she spent “5-6 hours” in a Dutch jail cell earlier in the day.The rapper was due to take her ‘Pink Friday 2’ live show to the city’s Co-Op Live venue as part of her ongoing UK and European tour, but she was unable to make it to the gig after the events in the Netherlands.Minaj had livestreamed her own arrest in the afternoon, as she appeared to be detained by Dutch police for allegedly “carrying drugs” while travelling between countries. The Dutch National Police Corps later confirmed she had been arrested.As doors opened at Co-Op Live at 7pm, it was unclear whether Minaj would be able to make it on time, but the announcement finally came at around 9:30pm that she would not be performing.Minaj then posted on social media in the early hours of Sunday morning (May 26) to apologise and update fans on the current situation. “Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today,” she began.

K.J. Yossman “White Lies,” a murder mystery series starring Natalie Dormer, has been acquired by Sundance Now for North America. A collaboration between production company Quizzical Pictures and Pan-African broadcaster M-Net in partnership with Fremantle, “White Lies” is set in the wealthy Bishopscourt neighborhood in Cape Town, South Africa.

No surprise here: more episodes of “Shōgun” are on the way.  FX and streaming partner Hulu announced yesterday that they’ll renew their hit limited series for two more seasons. Star and producer Hiroyuki Sanada also returns, as do co-creators, writers, and executive producers Justin Marks and Rachel Condo, as well as EP Michaela Clavell.  And “Shōgun” author James Clavell also returns to develop both upcoming seasons, too; so creatively speaking, everyone is back, which is good news for the show’s fans.

David Gilmour has announced additional shows in Los Angeles and New York for his ‘Luck And Strange‘ shows.The soloist and former Pink Floyd guitarist took to his official social media accounts to announce a third show at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on October 31, and a fourth show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on November 9.The new dates follow the previously announced dates in Los Angeles on October 29 and 30 and in New York on November 4, 5, and 6. Gilmour’s US dates will take place after his six-night residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall and his six-night residency at Rome’s historic chariot-racing stadium Circus Maximus (Circo Massimo).

Bryan Fuller — who was announced as the show’s writer, executive producer, and showrunner when it was first ordered to series in 2022 — took to Twitter to announce that he has been fired from the show due to creative differences. “For reasons beyond our control, A24 has elected to go a different way with the material,” he said.

CBS has ordered its first new series for the 2025-26 broadcast season. The network has given a green light to Fire Country spinoff Sheriff Country, headlined by Morena Baccarin. The series order was announced Thursday during CBS’ presentation in Los Angeles.
