Party at the Palace viewers fume as they 'can't hear' Diana Ross' performance

Viewers of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee's Party at the Palace concert have been complaining about headliner Diana Ross’s performance. Many took to Twitter to vent their frustrations, after they were unable to hear the icon as she graced the Buckingham Palace stage. One fan wrote: "I can hardly hear Diana Ross.
Just me or have the microphones been dodgy?" While another complained: “What’s happened to Diana Ross’s mic? Sack the sound engineer.” “I'd love to tweet how amazing that Royal gig was last night on the telly box. However, all I caught of it was Diana Ross at the end....and it didn't sound great,” wrote another viewer. "Nice light show though," they added.Throughout the performance, the musical legend could be seen attempting to adjust her mic pack, suggesting she was having issues with her equipment.

“The sound was a bit iffy for the singers for quite a bit…lots of probs with the earpieces…eventually was sorted but Diana Ross was soooo underwhelming,” wrote another fan. Another tweet, from someone in the crowd at the Palace, wrote: “Poor Diana Ross obvs couldn't hear the backing track and was heroically trying to make it work, they sorted the sound out a bit or turned up her prerecorded vocals cos it got a bit better and was ok watching on TV, but live it really hurt to watch. #PlatinumPartyatthePalace.” Diana Ross wasn’t the only star to receive complaints, with others also criticising Rod Stewart’s vocals.
