Viewers who tuned into the BBC's Platinum Party at the Palace have clapped back at the broadcaster due to a confusing performance from Sir Rod Stewart.
The 77-year-old artist was part of last night's BBC broadcast which also featured performances from acts such as Craig David and Sam Ryder. They all performed to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 70 years on the throne, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Rod performed a string of his classic hits for the evening at Buckingham Palace and finished of the performance with a rendition of Sweet Caroline. While the royals were seen enjoying the evening, with Prince George singing along to the Neil Diamond classic, viewers of the show were confused as to why Rod performed a cover when he has a collection of his own classic hits.

Posting on Twitter, user Savage said: "So….all of Rod Stewarts back catalogue and he (or someone quite high up) chooses #SweetCaroline #PlatinumPartyatthePalace"
