Mark Sutherland Glastonbury Festival — the biggest live music event in Europe — gets into full swing today, for the first time since 2019.There will be 200,000 people on site in Somerset, in the west of England, watching thousands of performances across 93 different stages, including headliners Billie Eilish, Sir Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar, and Diana Ross in the highly prized Sunday afternoon ‘legends’ slot.And yet, somehow, Glastonbury is even bigger than those numbers suggest. First held in 1970 – when 1,500 hippies got free milk in exchange for their £1 entrance fee – the festival has developed into a national and international institution, as much a part of the traditional British summer as Wimbledon.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are saying goodbye to their home at Kensington Palace!According to the the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with their three children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, will move to a new residence 30 miles away in the county of Berkshire -- home of Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth II resides.  The Cambridges' new home is speculated to be Adelaide Cottage, however, neither Kensington Palace nor the royal family has yet to confirm that information.

Queen Elizabeth had personal requests when it came to her Platinum Jubilee Concert. Alicia Keys, who performed at Saturday’s Platinum Party at the Palace, revealed in an Instagram post that the 96-year-old monarch requested the songs she sung at the royal-studded event.

The 77 year old rock icon took to the stage at the star-studded concert which came as part of a stellar four-day line-up of celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and her incredible 70 years on the throne.

In memoriam. While Prince Charles and Prince William both honored Queen Elizabeth II’s monumental 70-year reign in their Platinum Jubilee speeches, they couldn’t help but note that someone was missing: the late Prince Philip.

The event, located outside Buckingham Palace, is set to kick off at 8pm, where some huge musical names will perform. People have been working hard to resurrect the large T-shaped stage, which goes right up to the Palace gates.
