Two prisoners are on the run as police have issued an urgent warning for the public to not approach the criminals.
Joshua Lewis Terry, 29, and Levi Mitchell, 39, had previously been reported missing and are now believed to have fled from Hollesley Bay prison, a category D open prison, together.
Police first received a report the pair had disappeared just before 7pm on October 21. Terry is from the Norfolk area and Mitchell is from the Hertfordshire area report the Mirror.
Terry, who was described as being 6'2, with ginger hair and blue eyes, was serving two years and fourth months for affray, threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place, and theft. He is of thin build and has a tattoo on his lower arm of a star.
Police have warned they should not be approached by the public. They said: "Enquiries are ongoing to locate the pair and anyone who knows of their whereabouts or has seen them should not approach them but should contact Suffolk Police, quoting CAD 310 or CAD 311 of 21 October."
Hollesley Bay Prison is a prison and Young Offender Institution and located in the village of Hollesley, around eight miles from Woodbridge.
In a full statement, they said: "Police are appealing for help to locate two absconders from Hollesley Bay prison who are believed to have absconded together. Police received a report just before 7pm this evening (Saturday 21 October) that Joshua Lewis Terry, 29, previously from the Norfolk area, and Levi Mitchell, 39, previously from the Hertfordshire area, had been reported missing.
