Outlander star Sam Heughan has stunned fans after revealing the cover for his memoir Waypoints.
The Scots actor is best known for his role as Jamie Fraser in the hit historical fantasy series, but has left fans buzzing with the latest book news. Waypoints has been billed as a ‘deeply personal’ memoir which is told against the backdrop of the West Highland Way.
Sam, 42, took to Twitter to share the news, writing: "HERE it is! So proud. “ Waypoints ” cover reveal. Hope you like it. What a great experience, loved every step of the journey.x," as he shared the front cover showing a model-like shot of himself in front of stunning Scottish scenery backdrop.
Waypoints will be published in the UK by Radar, with a release date of October 25, 2022 and follows Heughan as he travels along the West Highland Way, explores his life and sees him reflect on the personal waypoints that define him.
The fan-favourite actor is a master of all trades as he is already a New York Times bestselling author from his previous two books, Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other and The Clanland's Almanac: Seasonal Stories from Scotland. These books were hits with history buffs and Outlander fans as both were co-authored with his co-star Graham McTavish, and have sold more than 500,000 English-language copies.
