Mark Hoppus has revealed that he attempted to buy tickets for Blink-182‘s upcoming reunion tour but lost them after the website crashed.Last Tuesday (October 11) it was announced that Hoppus and Travis Barker had reunited with Tom DeLonge to release new music and embark on a huge run of global gigs. The trio then released the single ‘Edging’ on Friday (October 14), with a full album also in the works.Tickets for Blink-182’s 2023/2024 tour dates went on general sale yesterday (October 17).

Tom DeLonge’s note thanking him for keeping Blink-182 “thriving”, after the band returned to its original line-up, making Skiba “truly happy”.The Alkaline Trio vocalist joined the band in 2015 as a replacement for DeLonge who left “to change the world for my kids”.

Blink-182 has officially returned to your speakers!The band released «Edging» on Friday, marking their first new single in nearly 10 years with core members Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker all working together in the studio. The song comes just days after the iconic pop-punk trio announced that they would be reuniting for a 2023 World Tour and releasing a new album next year. «Edging» is produced by Barker, featuring his signature drumming style and production.

Louis Tomlinson has shared a new track called ‘Out Of My System’ and announced a 2023 UK and European tour – listen to the track below and buy tickets for the tour here.‘Out Of My System’ is the latest preview of the singer’s second solo album ‘Faith In The Future’, which follows his debut full-length effort, 2020’s ‘Walls’, and will be released on November 11. Blink-182 have returned with their first song to feature Tom DeLonge in just months shy of a decade: a belting pop-punk anthem titled ‘Edging’.Despite its title (and the returning frontman’s penchant for tongue-in-cheek raciness) the song is surprisingly void of sex jokes, instead offering a self-deprecative take on the dissolution of a relationship. It opens with DeLonge singing the first verse, as he quips: “I ain’t that cool, a little fucked in the head / They’ll be hangin’ me quick when I’m back from the dead.”A music video for ‘Edging’, directed by Cole Bennett, is due to be released tomorrow (October 15).

Tom DeLonge has shared a personal message to Blink-182’s departing guitarist, Matt Skiba, thanking him for his work with the band. During his time away he became famous for his work on UFOs, although he did continue to make music too, recording a solo album as well as new material with his other band Angels & Airwaves.Blink 182 continued on, and began talking to DeLonge again last year after bassist Mark Hoppus revealed that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

The 2022 festival is due to take place later this month in Las Vegas (October 22, 23 and 29), with Bring Me The Horizon, Bright Eyes, The Used and more also on the bill.Though this year’s festival is still to take place, the line-up for 2023 has already been unveiled, with the likes of 30 Seconds To Mars, The Offspring, Good Charlotte, Rise Against on the bill for October 21.What’s our age again? A post shared by blink-182 (@blink182)While Hoppus and Barker released a song with Matt Skiba -- who joined the band in 2015 in place of DeLonge — in 2020 called «Quarantine,» their new song marks the first time they've been in the studio together with DeLonge in over a decade. Their international tour kicks off on March 11, 2023 in Mexico. The North American leg of the tour will feature openers Turnstile, while Rise Against will join Blink-182 in Australia. The Story So Far will join Hoppus, Barker, and DeLonge in the United Kingdom and Europe, while Wallows will tour with the group in Latin America.
