Olly Murs has shared the touching moment he found out he was going to be a father for the first time, just days after announcing that his wife, Amelia, is pregnant. The Voice star shared an adorable video to Instagram in which he can be seen closing his eyes and holding out his hands as Amelia places her positive pregnancy test on one of them.
Olly, 39, was visibly shocked as his mouth dropped open when he realised what was going on, and he stared down at the test. In other parts of the video, Olly shares the moments he and Amelia told their friends and family about their happy baby news.
They asked their peers to pose for a photo, before announcing that Amelia is expecting their first child, with everyone jubilant when they found out.
The clip ended with their baby's sonogram being played on a TV screen at the hospital. In the caption, Olly referenced his famous song Heart Skips a Beat, as he wrote: "It wasn’t just our hearts that skipped a beat.." His fans flooded the comments with messages of support, as one wrote: "Awww watching this with tears in my eyes.
I’m so happy for you both . Sending you lots of love." Another commented: "ahhhh how cute is this," whilst a third said: "So so happy for you x," and a fourth penned: "Congratulations well done to both of you." Olly and Amelia announced their baby news to the world on 6 December as they shared a snap to Instagram, which was captioned: "Baby Murs due 2024," with a baby emoji and yellow heart emoji.
