Last week saw plans revealed to develop the area around the Great Northern Warehouse on Deansgate, aiming to make it an 'oasis' in the city.
The development would see 750 new properties added to the area as well as an extra city centre green space behind the warehouse.
While it'll be a while before we see if the plans are to amount to anything, we want to know your thoughts on the changes the centre of Manchester has experienced over the years.

Readers have already commented some concerns, with one saying: "I don’t trust anything Manchester council say regarding preserving old, classic buildings. Just look at all the old treasured pubs that have vanished or will soon."
Another shared their fears for historic places and buildings, adding: "More history disappearing, more dark shadows that these monstrosities produce"
One reader expressed worries about cost, despite feeling positively about developments, saying: "Rents starting at £1000/mo. Then factor in the cost of the restaurants and services on Deansgate. You need to be on at least 45k a year to live there and it's getting worse.
"I love to see Manchester grow and develop, but not if it means turning into Little London"
