Noel Gallagher has finally given the green light to an Oasis reunion - but with a massive twist.
The 56-year-old songwriter and guitarist was left in awe by the quality of the Abba Voyage show in London, which utilises avatars of the band members.
The innovative technology brings back the image of Abba in their 1970s heyday, performing hits like SOS, Voulez-Vous and Lay All Your Love On me, reports the Mirror.
Noel expressed his amazement, saying: "I went to see that Abba show. Have you been? It's f***ing unbelievable."
"It was great - an hour and a half gig. It was very, very impressive. I genuinely thought at one point that the people on the stage, which were holograms, were... they looked that real that I thought they were actors, like playing. The way they walk to the stage is so realistic. If you ever get the chance to go, it's well worth it."
In conversation with friend Matt Morgan for his latest podcast, he was questioned about the possibility of an Oasis hologram show - potentially based on their early live performances in 1995.
Noel responded: "I was very impressed by it to be honest but yeah, if anybody wants to do an Oasis one, give us a shout.
"I would be bang up for it. I'd say 'great', speak to that guy over there and then come up with a figure and then he'll relay it to me and I'll say either yes or no."
Matt raised concerns about whether fans would truly enjoy the hologram show, suggesting it might feel a bit "hollow".
However, Noel countered: "Well y'know, you never get to see the band so how much do you want it?"
Oasis enthusiasts have been clinging to the hope of a reunion for the 30th anniversary of their debut album 'Definitely Maybe' this year. Despite the anticipation, no such reunion has materialised.
