Harvey Weinstein has just been sentenced to 16 more years of prison time.

Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for rape and sexual assault at a Los Angeles court.The movie mogul was found guilty of rape and two other sexual misconduct charges involving a woman known as Jane Doe One, after a trial in December.The woman said the incident happened after Weinstein appeared uninvited at her hotel room during a Los Angeles film festival in 2013. Just before his sentencing, Weinstein begged judge Lisa Lench for “mercy”, telling her that he “didn’t deserve” to spend life behind bars, and adding that the allegations against him had been a “set up”. “Your Honour… I maintain that I am innocent,” he told the packed out court room.

Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 16 years in prison in his Los Angeles rape trial on Thursday.  In December, Weinstein was found guilty of rape, forced oral copulation and another sexual misconduct count involving a woman known as Jane Doe 1. The jury hung on several counts, notably charges involving Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, according to the Associated Press.  The jury reported it was unable to reach verdicts in her allegations and the allegations of another woman.

Disgraced singer and producer R. Kelly was sentenced to an additional 20 years in prison on charges of child pornography and enticement of minors for sex on Thursday. The 56-year-old will serve all but one of those years simultaneously with a 30-year sentence on racketeering and sex trafficking convictions.

Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 16 years in prison following his conviction in the Los Angeles rape trial that lasted five weeks. The disgraced movie mogul's sentencing was handed down Thursday in a Los Angeles courtroom, where the 70-year-old was convicted in December. The sentencing comes two months after the jury — comprised of eight men and four women — needed just over two weeks to deliberate. In the end, the jury found Weinstein guilty on three of the seven counts he faced.

R. Kelly has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of possession of child pornography and more.

R. Kelly is facing additional time in prison after being found guilty of further offences and having now been sentenced in Chicago today, Thursday, 23 February. The disgraced rapper, 56, was convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges in 2021 and received a sentence of 30 years in New York.

Thania Garcia R. Kelly was sentenced to 20 years in prison for child sex crimes in a Chicago federal courtroom on Thursday. The 56-year-old singer, whose full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, was found guilty of six of the 13 charges brought against him, including three counts of coercing minors into sexual activity and three of producing sex tapes involving a minor. The jury found that Kelly had produced three videos of himself sexually abusing his then 14-year-old goddaughter. He was acquitted of a charge that he had attempted to block an earlier investigation into his abuse of the goddaughter, and two other counts of enticing minors to have sex.

R. Kelly was just sentenced to 20 years in prison at a Chicago federal courtroom on Thursday (February 23) after being found guilty months ago.

Nipsey Hussle.Superior Court Judge H Clay Jacke II delivered the sentence yesterday (February 22), consisting specifically of 25 years to life for murder, an additional 25 for employing firearm enhancements, and 10 more years for voluntary manslaughter after injuring two bystanders at the crime scene.  Per an Associated Press report, Holder was not eligible for the death penalty.The sentence brings a conclusion to Holder’s trial, which began in June 2022. Three years prior, Hussle – born Ermias Joseph Asghedom – was fatally shot in March 2019 outside the Marathon Clothing store he founded in Los Angeles.

Eric Holder Jr., the man convicted last year in the 2019 shooting of rapper Nipsey Hussle, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison, the Associated Press reports. Holder was found guilty in July 2022 of first-degree murder, attempted murder, and possession of a firearm by a felon and faced a maximum sentence of life in prison. The sentence was delivered by Superior Court Judge H.
