Nine Inch Nails release 2 new instrumental albums online for free

Freddie Flintoff has revealed his wife Rachael Wools gave birth to their fourth child in secret four months ago.The 42 year old and Rachael, 39, are also parents to Holly, 15, Corey, 14, and Rocky, 12, and have now welcomed another baby boy. Former England cricket captain Freddie spoke about the birth of his fourth child on talkSPORT, and revealed his adorable name.

As teased, the Mountain Goats have released a new album via Merge. This one’s called Songs for Pierre Chuvin. According to a press release, it’s the first time since 2002’s All Hail West Texas that John Darnielle has recorded an album entirely on his boombox. Matador Records is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Pavement’s Wowee Zowee with a new picture disc. The 7" is cut into the shape of a speech bubble and includes “Sensitive Euro Man” on its A-side with “Brink of the Clouds/Candylad” on the B-side. Fiona Apple has announced her first album in eight years. Fetch the Bolt Cutters is getting a digital release on April 17. She announced the release date in the video below, which was shared via the Fiona Apple Rocks Tumblr page. That account often posts personal video messages from Apple (including a recent one where she hinted that she was thinking about releasing the album “really soon”). (Apple’s representative confirmed the release date.)

Ty Segall has shared Segall Smeagol, an EP featuring covers of six songs from the classic Harry Nilsson album Nilsson Schmilsson. “I wanted to cover Nilsson Schmilsson for years, so I used the opportunity of being at home to cover my favorite cuts from the record,” Segall said. Nine Inch Nails just gave fans a whole bunch of new music to listen to while in self-isolation.

Frontman Trent Reznor tweeted on Thursday (March 26) that the band had dropped Ghosts V-VI for free download on NIN.com, and that the albums would be available on all streaming services in the evening.

Nine Inch Nails have released two new albums. Ghosts V: Together and Ghosts VI: Locusts were uploaded to YouTube and nin.com early on Thursday morning along with a note from the band, which you can read in full below.

Bill Rieflin, a remarkably versatile drummer whose work over the past 30 years spanned Ministry, R.E.M., Nine Inch Nails and King Crimson, among many others, has died after a battle with cancer, according to friends and social media posts from several artists he performed with. He was 59.

Bill Rieflin has sadly passed away at the age of 59.

Father John Misty has released Off-Key in Hamburg, a live album recorded at the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie on August 8, 2019. The 20-track album finds Josh Tillman backed by his touring band along with German orchestra Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt. All proceeds from the release go to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund.
