The 36 year old queen of the I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here jungle was starring on Saturday’s show as this week’s guest announcer, which saw the Sunderland native come face to face with hosts Ant and Dec from nearby Newcastle. Wasting no time in teasing the star, the Geordie duo began to poke fun at Jill, as they admitted one of the main reasons they’d invited her on the show, was to playfully poke fun at her Sunderland heritage.

Naman Ramachandran BAFTA-winning producer Patrick Spence is leaving ITV Studios after three years, Variety has confirmed. Spence, who serves as creative director, will leave at the end of March, ITV Studios managing director Julian Bellamy told staff via an internal memo on Thursday. Spence will continue to partner with ITV Studios on upcoming projects including “People vs. Post Office” (working title). Spence joined ITV Studios in 2020 and secured several acclaimed commissions, including the BBC’s drama-romance “Ralph & Katie,” a spin-off of “The A Word,” about the lives of a couple with Down syndrome; ITVX’s “Litvinenko,” about the investigation into the death of Russian defector Alexander Litvinenko; the BAFTA-nominated Cold War spy drama “A Spy Among Friends,” also for ITVX; and post-pandemic frontline medical drama “Maternal” for ITV.

Ant And Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will air at a new time tonight (18 March) as the programme moves to make way for a sports broadcast.The Geordie duo’s hit ITV series recently returned for its nineteenth series and has been delighting viewers with its usual mix of hilarious sketches, pranks and competitions with huge prizes.The programme usually airs at 7pm but will be on later as ITV airs coverage of the Six Nations rugby tournament throughout the afternoon and early evening. ITV will broadcast the France vs Wales game, which starts at 1.55pm, followed by Ireland vs England at 4.30pm.

K.J. Yossman Mercury Studios, the production company behind recent Abbey Road Studios doc “If These Walls Could Sing,” have unveiled their new feature, about composer Felix Mendelssohn’s genius sister Fanny. Although Felix, who is best known for writing “The Wedding March,” is still world-renowned 175 years after his death, his sister Fanny was also a prolific musician, composing 450 works – including her own wedding music – before she died in her early 40s. “Fanny: The Other Mendelssohn” tells her story. Sheila Hayman (“Mendelssohn, The Nazis and Me”) directs the doc, which also stars classical artist Isata Kanneh-Mason bringing Mendelssohn’s works to life. Filming has taken place in Berlin, New York, London, Oxford and Buckingham Palace, where Kanneh-Mason played Queen Victoria’s piano.

As Saturday Night Takeaway got underway once again this week, viewers at home were left complaining mere moments into the show, as they struggled to understand what this week’s guest announcer was saying. The popular ITV entertainment show kicked off with guest announcer Big Zuu, who promptly introduced fans at home to iconic Geordie duo Ant and Dec. However not everyone was keen on his unique voice, with many even questioning who the star was in the first place.

Guests in attendance — who received zines and VHS boxes upon arrival — were also treated to writer-director Alcazar showing up to the event in a terrifying mask. Executive produced by Steven Soderbergh and starring Stephen Dorff, the experimental film is set in an otherworldly human existence, where the creation of a groundbreaking immortality serum named “Divinity” is wreaking havoc.
