Nick Carter has been accused of sexual assault by a third woman who is taking him to court, prompting a response from his legal team.
In new court documents filed on Monday (August 28), the 43-year-old member of the Backstreet Boys is being sued over alleged incidents that occurred in 2003 when he was 23.

People examined the lawsuit, which alleges that Nick “‘knowingly engaged’ in ‘sexual acts’ without her consent.”
AR recalled a second encounter with Nick where she said that three other men watched them while they were intimate. She said that she made “repeated refusals,” but he continued anyways.
She is seeking $15,000 and said that the incidents have caused her damages, including “emotional distress, physical anguish, intimacy issues, and other complex trauma.”
Nick‘s legal team responded to the allegations in a statement shared with the outlet, calling AR‘s claims false and referencing the fact that the assault was reported at the time but dismissed.
“When A.R. first accused Nick Carter almost two decades ago, authorities listened and thoroughly investigated – and then informed A.R. that her allegations were meritless,” his lawyer Dale Hayes said. “And now she’s at it yet again. But repeating the same false allegations in a new legal complaint doesn’t make them any more true. Nick is looking forward to the evidence being presented and the truth about these malicious schemes coming to light.”
The musician recently claimed a victory in a legal battle against another accuser.
