It appears Sir Ridley Scott is almost as deadset on making more “Alien” films as James Cameron is in his “Avatar” sequels. No matter how negative or lukewarm the response to the prequel/reboot “Prometheus” and its sequel, “Alien: Covenant,” Scott is reportedly still developing a new film in the franchise, but it looks like it will be different from what fans would expect.

The new HBO Max series “Raised by Wolves” is hard to forget. Even if it turns out not to be your cup of tea, Aaron Guzikowski (“Prisoners,” “The Red Road”) and Ridley Scott‘s combined vision is one of the most original sci-fi productions in recent memory.

You may not recognize Amanda Collin’s name today, but if you take the time to watch Ridley Scott and Aaron Guzikowski’s impressive new series “Raised by Wolves” you certainly won’t forget her face. Set about 150 years in the future, Collin portrays Mother, an android charged with raising an arc full of human children on a hostile alien planet.
