New statistics from Social Security Scotland show that 685 applications for Carer Support Payment were made by the end of March, with 430 claims processed and a decision letter issued. The latest figures from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) show that there are nearly 190,000 adults across Great Britain receiving support through Personal Independence Payment (PIP) for Chronic Pain conditions.
