Martin Scorsese’s upcoming movie has been given a really long run-time, and some fans aren’t happy.The long-awaited film is called Killers Of The Flower Moon, and is expected to premiere later this year. However, as reported by Variety, it will have a run-time of close to four hours.Set to premiere at Cannes next month (May 20), the film is Scorsese’s first time presenting a film at the festival in over three decades – following his win for best director for the 1986 film, After Hours.

Glastonbury Festival has had its long-term future at Worthy Farm secured after permanent planning permission for the event was granted by the local council.Glastonbury Festival Events Ltd. (GFEL) has had rolling temporary planning permission to hold the festival and other events at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset since 2010, but it was due to expire in 2024.GFEL had applied for permanent planning permission for the festival and other events to  “provide more certainty and additional flexibility” in the years to come.

Naman Ramachandran Canadian drama series “Streams Flow From a River” will debut in Canada on Super Channel, available on Apple TV and Prime Video Channels, on April 1. Produced by Canadian scripted production company Fae Pictures, “Streams Flow From a River” (6 x 14′) is the first Canadian series from an all-Asian writers’ room and 75% East Asian crew led by producer Shant Joshi (“Framing Agnes,” “Porcupine Lake”). Joshi is one of MipTV’s Producers to Watch 2023 and will be attending Mip-Canneseries Connections event.

One of the most anticipated films of 2023 is, without a doubt, Ari Aster’s “Beau is Afraid.” Not only is it the third film from the writer-director of “Hereditary” and “Midsommar,” but it also stars Joaquin Phoenix in what looks to be another tour-de-force performance. New Order have backed the #LetTheMusicMove campaign against proposed changes to US visa rules that would impact touring artists.Last month saw the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announce that it was planning to raise touring visa fees for foreign acts by more than 250 per cent.The DHS said in its proposal that applications for a P visa, which is for acts arriving in the states to perform temporarily, would increase from the current rate of $460 (£375.23) to $1,615 (£1,317). Meanwhile, the longer-term O work visa would jump from $460 (£375.23) to $1,655 (£1,349).Numerous musicians have since spoken out against the plans, saying that it would be “a huge hardship to pay such high visa fees”.
