Netflix To Launch ‘John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In L.A.’ During Streamer’s Joke Fest

Netflix has something special planned for Emmy winner John Mulaney in May.
The streamer will launch John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA, a special run of six episodes created by and starring the comedian that will stream live during the Netflix is a Joke Fest. The show will feature special guests and field pieces shot around Los Angeles.
John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA debutson May 3, with additional episodes streaming nightly from May 6 -10. All new episodes will debut at 7 p.m. PT on Netflix.
The six live installments will follow Mulaney as he explores the city during a week when “every funny person is in it,” says Netflix. Mulaney will also be at the Hollywood Bowl on May 4 as part of the festival.
Besides hosting, Mulaney is the co-showrunner and executive producer of the special through his Multiple Camera Productions. Ashley Edens serves as co-showrunner and executive producer. Dave Ferguson is the head writer.
This continues the partnership between Mulaney and Netflix. He’s debuted three Netflix stand-up specials: John Mulaney: Baby J (2023), The Comeback Kid (2015) and Kid Gorgeous (2018). Netflix also premiered Mulaney’s variety special John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch in 2019.

Netflix is a Joke Fest runs from May 2-12 and will feature over 300 live stand-up shows, special events, table reads, sketches and more. For 11 days, the comedy community will take over more than 35 L.A. landmarks.
