Netflix Teaming With Legendary Television For ‘Skull Island’ & ‘Tomb Raider’ Anime Series

Joe Otterson TV ReporterAn animated series based on the classic board game “Clue” is in development at Fox, Variety has learned.Fox Entertainment has partnered with Hasbro’s content studio eOne and Bento Box Entertainment on the series, with the three companies co-producing and Bento Box providing the animation.

Hasbro’s popular mystery board game Clue is getting an animated series treatment.

Fox has given a formal series order to an animated comedy from Emmy Award-winning creator Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty, Community) and Fox-owned animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, to premiere in 2022.

Netflix has given a series order to Daniel Spellbound, a CG animated series from Matt Fernandes (Dino Ranch, Remy & Boo, Kingdom Force) and Boat Rocker Studios. The 20 x 22-minute animated epic adventure series will debut globally on Netflix in 2022.

Martin’s “Tales of Dunk and Egg” is in the works at HBO.
