‘Game Of Thrones’ Animated Series In The Works

Netflix has announced a new anime series based on Valve’s popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, DOTA.The anime series, titled DOTA: Dragon’s Blood, will feature eight episodes according to a Deadline report. The series will follow the story of Davion, a Dragon Knight.

The world of DOTA will come to Netflix as the streamer announced on Tuesday a new anime series based off the popular video game franchise from Valve.

Fox has given a formal series order to an animated comedy from Emmy Award-winning creator Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty, Community) and Fox-owned animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, to premiere in 2022.

Netflix has given a series order to Daniel Spellbound, a CG animated series from Matt Fernandes (Dino Ranch, Remy & Boo, Kingdom Force) and Boat Rocker Studios. The 20 x 22-minute animated epic adventure series will debut globally on Netflix in 2022.

Geena Davis has signed on to executive produce the kids animated series I Am for Kickstart Entertainment. Kickstart is the animation and live-action producer behind Netflix's Starbeamand Amazon’s superhero programThe Boys, directed by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen of Point Grey Pictures.
