Netflix star Chloe Veitch shared a really powerful moment with her fellow celebrities when she came out as bisexual on The Big Celebrity Detox. The Too Hot To Handle star, 24, appears in the new Channel 4 show with the likes of Kerry Katona, Homes Under the Hammer’s Martin Roberts, and Megan Barton Hanson. Putting them through their paces, they check into a detox clinic for some radical treatments and are encouraged to open up like never before.
In the latest episode, Chloe did exactly that as she had a major realisation. ‘So much has happened in this stage, but I am getting frustrated in myself because I’ve been compressing who I am for so long. Like, why am I not saying it?’, she told the cameras.
Growing tearful, the Perfect Match star bravely addressed the group. ‘I can’t keep it a secret anymore because it’s killing me,’ she began. ‘I’ve been in relationships with women secretly for a good few years now.
‘And I’m bisexual but I’ve been really scared to show the world who I really am. ’Chloe received nothing but love from her co-stars, with former Atomic Kitten star Kerry letting out a, ‘Yes!’, while Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts rubbed her arm reassuringly. The group then clapped for her, as Chloe sobbed.
‘I feel like I was just trapping myself in,’ she then admitted. ‘Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been suppressing that feeling, that shame, “Is this normal? I’ve never experienced this”. ’She confessed that neither her family nor her friends were aware that she is bi.
‘For me to actually come out and accept it, let alone just say it, is massive. ’‘This is me!’, she exclaimed proudly. ‘Do you know what I mean? This is me.
