So far, the royal drama - based on real events - has charted palace events from the Queen’s coronation right through to Margaret Thatcher’s time at Number 10 Downing Street. But there’s more to come - Netflix is reportedly looking for a college-aged actress to play teenage Kate Middleton. Judging from the show’s timeline, season six is likely to cover the millennium during Kate and Prince William’s college years. But the role will be pretty small.
A source told The Sun: “Having the Duchess of Cambridge is an easy win for The Crown , as it’ll get more people watching.
