This quickly escalates to a violent confrontation as Officer TJ Meadows III accidentally shoots and kills his partner, Officer Kevin Cooper, with his backup gun. Years later, no longer a cop and still traumatized, he moves back to Pittsburgh and finds his way to his partner’s widow, Kacie (Delevingne). They slowly fall in love as Kacie confronts the history she’s been avoiding, including telling her 15-year-old son, Ralph, TJ’s back-story.

Netflix has split the second and final season of Firefly Lane into two parts, with the first nine episodes being released in December 2022.Created by Maggie Friedman (Witches Of East End) and based on the book by Kristin Hannah, the US drama series follows the lives of two teenage girls in the 1970s through to adulthood in the early 2000s.The show stars Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy) as Tully Hart and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) as Kate Mularkey, who have been best friends since they were 14 years old. The supporting cast includes Ben Lawson, Beau Garrett and Yael Yurman.After the first season was released in February 2021, Netflix announced the show would return for a second and final season consisting of 16 episodes, which has been divided into two parts.

Rancid have announced plans to release new album ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’ this summer.The US punk-rock band’s 10th studio LP will come out on June 2 via Epitaph Records and is their first since 2017’s ‘Trouble Maker’.As a first taster, the band have shared the title track from their forthcoming album, the video for which you can view below.The record, which will feature 16 tracks, coincides with their forthcoming UK and European tour which kicks off in Italy at Slam Dunk on the same day the album is released.The tour was set to call at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on June 20, but it has now been upgraded to the OVO Arena Wembley on the same date.The band will also play a second gig at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester the following night (June 21).

As part of Netflix’s crackdown on customers sharing passwords with people outside their household, the company plans to start blocking devices (after a certain period of time) that attempt to access a Netflix account without properly paying. “In Q1, we launched paid sharing in four countries and are pleased with the results,” Netflix said in its Q1 letter to shareholders. “We are planning on a broad rollout, including in the U.S., in Q2.”

Set in 1936 Pittsburgh during the aftermath of the Great Depression, “The Piano Lesson” follows the lives of the Charles family, a household led by Doaker Charles (Jackson), and an heirloom, the family piano, which is decorated with designs carved by an enslaved ancestor. Washington plays Boy Willie, Doaker’s nephew, a role Jackson originated in the 1987 production.

Apple TV+ thriller “The Last Thing He Told Me.” Premiering April 14, the miniseries (executive-produced by Garner and Reese Witherspoon) is based on a bestselling novel by Laura Dave (and is co-written by Dave and her husband, Oscar-winning “Spotlight” screenwriter Josh Singer).The storyline follows Hannah (Garner), an artist and a newlywed who, for just over a year, has had what appears to be a great relationship with a widower, Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, “Game of Thrones”) — even though his churlish teenage daughter, Bailey (Angourie Rice), hasn’t warmed up to her new stepmother. When Owen mysteriously vanishes after a fraud investigation at his tech startup — “It’s like what they did at Enron,” Hannah’s friend Jules (Aisha Tyler) helpfully contextualizes — Hannah’s life gets turned upside down. She’s blindsided, since Owen never seemed like the white-collar criminal type.
