Netflix subscribers reckon 'all women' need to see the platform's latest thriller-romance, Fair Play.
The film, from Suits and Billions director Chloe Domont, explores themes of fragile masculinity, inequality and the gender pay gap through the twisted love story of two financial analysts. Emily Meyers and Luke Edmunds' relationship - forbidden by their employers - comes under strain when Emily gets an unexpected promotion at One Crest Capital hedge fund, where they both work.
Luke becomes jealous and angry, while, coincidentally (or not) new issues arise at work - including the devastating loss of $25 million. Phoebe Dynevor, who notably played Daphne, the fourth Bridgerton child, in the hit Netflix period drama of the same name, stars as Emily. The actress, from Trafford, Greater Manchester, stars alongside Alden Ehrenreich as Luke - who appeared as a Senate aide in summer blockbuster Oppenheimer.
