Ethan Shanfeld Season 2 of Netflix’s League of Legends series “Arcane” will arrive on the streamer inNovember 2024, . The animated show, created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee and based on the Riot Games sensation, was renewed by Netflix in November 2021. Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell will reprise their roles as sisters Vi and Jinx, who are caught on opposing sides of a conflict in the utopian city of Piltover and its poor underbelly, Zaun.
Katie Leung is also set to return as Caitlyn Kiramman. Season 1 of the video game adaptation was met with critical acclaim, and “Arcane” became the first streaming series to win the Emmy Award for animated program. The show also won nine Annie Awards, including for Best General Audience Animated Television Broadcast Production.
At the time of its premiere, “Arcane” was Netflix’s highest-rated series, as it topped the streamer’s chart in 52 countries. “Arcane” Season 1 was directed by Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord, and Imagine Dragons and JID performed the opening theme music. Alexander Temple and Alex Seaver serve as composers.
The second season of “Arcane” will be executed produced by Linke, alongside Marc Merrill, Brandon Beck, Jane Chung and Thomas Vu. Fox will use “Lone Star,” it’s highest-rated drama, to launch its new shows “Doc” and “Rescue: Hi-Surf,” both of which were ordered earlier this year but have yet to begin production.

Ethan Shanfeld Denzel Washington is teaming up once again with his “Training Day” and “Equalizer” director Antoine Fuqua to play the ancient Carthaginian general Hannibal in an untitled Netflix movie, Variety has confirmed. The film will be written by John Logan, the three-time Academy Award winner who scribed Martin Scorsese’s “The Aviator” and Ridley Scott’s “Gladiator.” According to the official logline, the movie is “based on real-life warrior Hannibal, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest military commanders in history. The film covers the pivotal battles he led against the Roman Republic during the Second Punic War.” Hannibal famously invaded Italy while riding a Northern African war elephant.
