Netflix greenlights two more Harlan Coben dramas following Fool Me Once success

Netflix has commissioned two more Harlan Coben dramas following the success of Fool Me Once. The Michelle Keegan-led thriller was the latest of the American writer's best-selling novels to be adapted for TV.
The eight part series had audiences gripped, with many admitting to binging the drama in a whole day. Fool Me Once, which debuted on New Year's Day, was filmed across north west, swapping the novel's original American setting for England instead.
Debuting at number one on the the streamer's global English TV list, it racked up 37.1 million views in its first week and reached the top 10 in 91 countries.

Taking to social media on Monday (January 22), Netflix announced: "Following the recent success of Fool Me Once (Top 10 in 91 countries!) we’re excited to announce two new @HarlanCoben limited series adaptations… MISSING YOU will begin production this spring, and will then be followed by RUN AWAY."
Missing You, which debuted in 2014, follows NYPD officer Kat Donovan who uncovers an unspeakable conspiracy when she stumbles upon her ex-fiance on a dating site. When Kat reaches out to the profile, her life begins to unravel. She questions everyone - even her father, whose murder remains unsolved.
Run Away, released in 2019, centres around a protagonist who attempts to save a former drug addict on-the-run in New York. The main character quickly becomes embroiled in a dark and chaotic underworld, with both their own and their family's life on the line.
The two new commissions means a total of six Coben dramas will eventually be available on the platform. As well as Fool Me Once, subscribers can catch Safe (2018), The Stranger (2020) and Stay
