Netflix Cancels 3 TV Shows, Renews 5 More in 2024 & Announces 8 Are Ending Soon

ABC has been making major decisions regarding which TV shows are renewed and which series are canceled this year so far.

There are so many beloved Netflix shows with upcoming seasons on the way and now we know which ones will be premiering before the end of 2024.

Only four Netflix TV shows have had viewers tune in for over 1 billion hours of viewing within the first 91 days on the streaming service. These means that, by far, these shows had huge debuts on the platform.

Unfortunately, every year, numerous TV shows have to come to an end at various networks and streaming services, and it looks like 2024 will be no exception.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are branching out and expanding their roles at Netflix.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have two new nonfiction projects with the streamer — one a cooking show and the other a series about polo.Both programs fall under the deal they signed with Netflix under their Archewell Productions company.The first series will feature Markle and “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship,” according to Deadline. It will be produced by an arm of Sony Pictures Television, which is also behind “The D’Amelio Show” (Hulu) and “Leah Remini: Scientology & the Aftermath” (A&E).The showrunner will be Leah Hariton (“Selena & Chef“) and the series will be directed by Michael Steed (“Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown”).

In the report from THR, the outlet cites a blunt conversation between Lin and the streamer’s chief content officer, Bela Bajaria, before he was hired.
