Neighbours legend Guy Pearce has revealed the devastating news that his mum has died.
The TV and film star shared a loving tribute as he sadly announced his mother Anne Cocking passed way following a battle with Alzheimer’s. Sharing images of him, his sister Tracy and their "fierce and witty" mother on X, formerly known as Twitter, Guy, 55, wrote: "Lost my beautiful Mum today. "Kicked the bucket’ as she would say.
What a sharp, fierce & witty woman Anne was, until Alzheimer’s struck in 2010. "It’s been a long & winding road. A fitting song 4 ur departure Mum.
Tracy & I will miss u enormously.
We’ll always love u XX." Guy also shared a beautiful black-and-white picture of his late mum when she was younger, as well as a picture from her wedding day. Fans sent their messages of condolences to Guy as one person said: "I'm so so sorry to hear this, my mother passed recently too. May you find strength and peace Guy."
