NCT has been named Ferragamo’s newest global ambassador.Jeno’s appointment as the Italian luxury fashion house’s new ambassador was announced today (May 29) by the brand on Instagram.In its post, Ferragamo noted that the NCT member is its “first global male ambassador”. The brand also said that the new partnership “seals the relationship between Ferragamo and Jeno, who have started building ties prior to this announcement”.“We’re driven by the same passion in our creativity and feel fortunate to have him join Ferragamo,” said the brand’s creative director Maximilian Davis in Ferragamo’s statement.Meanwhile, Jeno added that he is “very excited to create a synergy with the brand and [is] looking forward to disclosing our future projects”.

Warner Bros Entertainment Italia, Italy’s Indiana Production and BlackBox Multimedia are producing with support from the Calabria Film Commission. Germany’s SquareOne Productions is handling international sales. Warner Bros. Pictures will release the film in Italian theaters.

Fellini co-wrote the tale of two Neapolitan kids who embark on a ship to New York to escape Italy’s early postwar poverty with his frequent collaborator Tullio Pinelli, a writer on the Italian maestro’s “La Dolce Vita” and “8 1/2,” as well as other titles. Italian A-lister Pierfrancesco Favino (“The Traitor,” “Nostalgia”) stars as the chief officer of the ship which the two kids, named Carmine and Celestina, manage to board surreptitiously in the port of Naples, becoming clandestine passengers. The youngsters are on a mission to reach the U.S. where they dream of living with Celestina’s sister, who emigrated to New York two years earlier. The Baltic Sea Philharmonic with conductor Kristjan Järvi, actor Peter Serafinowicz, and Eno’s longtime collaborators Leo Abrahams and Peter Chilvers will all back the musician on the tour.“The album ‘The Ship’ is an unusual piece in that it uses voice but doesn’t particularly rely on the song form.
Patrick Frater Asia Bureau Chief Acclaimed Chinese auteur filmmaker Jia Zhang-ke has set “We Shall Be All” as his next feature directing project. It is his first in the five years since his “Ash Is Purest White,” which premiered in Cannes in 2018. Describing the project as a “dismantling of dystopia,” Jia says that the new film is set across the first two decades of the 21st century and tells the story of how a Chinese woman lives to herself in silence, celebrating the prosperous Belle Epoque with songs and dance. Some 22 years in the making, the film’s first elements were shot as far back as 2001. The balance will be filmed later this year. No release schedule has been indicated.
