Nadia Sawalha takes swipe at NTAs saying 'every year it’s the same winners'

Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha has taken a swipe at the National Television Awards, claiming that "every year it's the same winners." Taking to Instagram Nadia, 57, said that she can't attend this year's award's ceremony due to illness, but that it'd be really nice if Loose Women won an award this year, with the show being nominated in the daytime category.The lunchtime talk show has been nominated for an NTA many times in recent years, but has not won one since 2010, where it received the award for Most Popular Factual Programme. Posting to her Instagram story, Nadia said: "Morning everybody, yes it's miserable Cinderella, not going to the NTAs tonight. "But, do you know what? It'd be really bloody nice if we won.
Come on, every year it's the same winners." Laughing, she added: "I'll probably get into trouble with ITV saying that, but it's true isn't it? "Wouldn't it be nice to see all the girls run up there. Honestly though I'm going to be so bloody depressed if I'm sat here, not there, and they win." Finishing, Nadia added: "Wouldn't it be nice to see the girls lifting the trophy? Maybe they'll be a bit naughty on the stage. Come on let's mix it up a bit, let's have something different going on at the NTAs today.
In a Youtube video Nadia revealed that she'd be unable to attend tonight's award ceremony, holding up her NTA ticket she said: "Look what I just got delivered on a bike. It's very fancy. National Television Awards.
"There it all is. Guess who won't be going to the National Television Awards...", as she frowned to the camera. Nadia revealed she had planned what she was going to wear, before having to pull out of the awards show, adding: "I've got such a lovely dress — I've got three lovely dresses I can
