As traffic pulses through Manchester's busy city centre roads, a young man watches on from a billboard. He quietly observes a city he has now departed, but where his legacy is kept alive.
The picture is of Zikel Bobmanuel, a 32-year-old dad-of-four tragically who died in Openshaw in March. Police believe he was shot. As a murder probe continues into his death, his heartbroken mother Justina is left tasked with making sure he is remembered.
The billboard was bought by Justina as a birthday gift to her late son, promoting his passion - clothing brand VayVay Apparel. Named after his eldest daughter Avaya, VayVay was Zikel's life work - and Justina says the brand helps her stay close to her 'pride and joy'.

"Zikel loved the camera, and he loved to dance," Justina tells me, sat in the bright living room of her Openshaw home. "As a child he loved basketball and football. He ran into a bit of trouble when he was younger, but he was focused to get back on track
"He decided to set up his own clothing brand, and it just became his passion."
Justina says it started slowly, as Zikel worked in construction on the side to bring in funds. "I knew he was making clothing, as I'd get a coat for Christmas," she laughed. "But it wasn't until I took over after he passed that I realised just how much he was doing."
Zikel was Justina's only child, and she admits she is struggling to cope with the enormity of her loss. All the profits made from VayVay are carefully stored away in a trust for his four children - the youngest of whom was just six weeks old when he passed.
