CHVRCHES have announced details of a huge new North American tour for 2022 – check out the new list of dates below.The Scottish trio are fresh off a three-song performance at this week’s (March 2) BandLab NME Awards 2022 in London, where they performed with The Cure‘s Robert Smith.After a UK tour that begins next week (March 10), the band will head to the US and Mexico from the end of April, playing a host of shows that take them up until the end of June. Emiliano De Pablos Closing in on one of the leading voices in Caribbean cinema, Sony Pictures Television has acquired from Latido Films Latin American rights to “Hotel Coppelia,” directed by Dominican filmmaker José María Cabral.Produced by Santo Domingo-based Rafael Elías Muñoz at Lantica Media and Cabral’s outfit Tabula Rasa, “Hotel Coppelia” is a real events-inspired drama, set during the 1965 Revolution in Dominican Republic.The story focus on a forlorn band of prostitutes, forced to pick sides when the American military invades and the soldiers hole up in their seaside brothel.“It would be impossible to think of a better house to have ‘Hotel Coppelia’ seen in Latin America,” Latido Films CEO Antonio Saura told Variety about the Sony Pictures deal. “The film deals with great intelligence with important issues of the history not only of the Dominican Republic but of all the region, but seen through the eyes of unexpected protagonists, caught in events that are beyond their reach.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters have unveiled details of a new, North American tour today (February 17).The Imposters are comprised of Steve Nieve (keyboards), Pete Thomas (drums) and Davey Faragher (bass/backing vocals).

Belgian pop artist Stromae is heading over to the United States in April to play Coachella 2022, his first American show in ages. North American fans won't have to head to Indio, California to see him perform this year, though: starting in October, Stromae will perform nine additional dates in the United States and Canada, including three in Quebec.

Foo Fighters have expanded their upcoming North American tour with 10 new shows, set to take place this September and October.The tour, in support of the band’s 2021 album ‘Medicine at Midnight’, will now include additional stops primarily through Canada – including cities such as Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver. IDLES have shared the details behind their 2022 North American tour and announced that they’ve been added to this year’s Coachella Music Festival lineup.Along with the new tour dates, the band has shared a video for their single, ‘CRAWL!’ from their fourth studio album, ‘CRAWLER’. The video features a claymation version of frontman Joe Talbot riding a motorcycle while singing the lyrics to the gritty track. Ringo Starr is set to return to the road with his All-Starr Band in mid-2022, touring North America for the first time in nearly three years.Joining Starr on the road will be long-serving guitarist Steve Lukather of Toto, saxophonist Warren Ham, bassist Hamish Stuart and drummer Gregg Bissonette.Men At Work‘s Colin Hay is also set to participate in the tour, providing guitar and vocals, as is a returning Edgar Winter. The prolific musician – who provides keyboards, saxophone and backing vocals – has not performed with the All-Starr Band since 2011.
