A “force of nature” mum who flew to Turkey for cosmetic surgery died after having a Brazilian butt lift procedure.
Lauren Wood travelled to Istanbul for procedures including liposuction, a tummy tuck, breast surgery and the enhancement to her behind in May last year.
The 44-year-old had been in touch with the clinic for several months before flying over to the Bakırköy area.

But while on the operating table at the clinic, her blood pressure and heartbeat dropped and she suffered a huge embolism, a blocked artery caused by a foreign body.
The former retail worker, who was mum to Indea and Rosey and grandma to Oskar, was rushed to hospital but passed away in the intensive care unit.
An inquest into her death heard the mum-of-two died after suffering a fat embolism, with a Royal Stoke consultant plastic surgeon saying it appeared that fatty tissue being grafted onto her behind as part of the ‘butt lift’ had poisoned her blood stream.
Royal Stoke surgeon Mr Ertan Erel added: “It is a rare but well-recognised condition.
"The mortality rate of this condition is around one in 15,000. When these surgeries are conducted under compulsory ultrasound, the rate of death drops to zero.
He added it was clear from the report made by Dr Özgen Kıvanç, who carried out the procedure, that ultrasound was used, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
The inquest heard from Dr Kıvanç that Mrs Wood had not informed the cosmetic surgery team about a gastric bypass operation she had had several years before.
