A mother-of-two drank two bottles of wine the day before her Mercedes collided with a five-year-old child.
Today magistrates banned Lisa Ward, 40, from driving for 12 months and fined her £319 for the offence, which took place on Lower Broughton Road, Salford.
The court heard Ms Ward was driving along the road on May 12 when a child ran out from behind an unattended van, hitting the side of her Mercedes estate.
