A man has been arrested after a 56-year-old man died following a collision in Ashton.
Officers were called to Hurst Cross in Ashton-under-Lyne just before 11.45pm on Saturday night (June 19) after reports of a collision at the junction with Kings Road.
Emergency services attended the scene and established that a white Mercedes Sprinter van had been travelling along Lees Road.

Police and emergency services raced to a property on Falside Crescent, Bathgate, after the incident, which took place at around 8pm on Monday July 5.
