A mortified woman who thought her window hack from Ebay would stop onlookers seeing in to her house found out the hard way that was not the case. TikTok user Lauren accidentally flashed her neighbours in a moment that had her beyond embarrassed.
The woman, who took to social media to share her huge gaffe, says one could 'now fry an egg on her face' after realising her neighbours got a major peak at her chest, reports the Mirror.
Lauren revealed she thought an investment in to mirrored film from Ebay would help her issue of nosy neighbours, a move that would backfire in a major way despite being initially chuffed with her purchase.
The film was supposed to stop people from seeing in to her home but she could still see out, she says she didn't want people looking at her slouching on the couch.
In a video posted to TikTok, via username lauren1084, she said: "I don't know what to tell you. I live in a terraced house, I've got no front garden so people just go past my house anytime they want to.
"And sometimes they like to have a quick look in, being nosey b*******, and a lot of times they found me on the sofa looking like some sort of melted person just watching something on TV.
"You know, like protecting my modesty. I was incredibly proud of myself and sent everyone pictures…"
However, disaster would strike when Lauren miscalculated how the film would work at night, as she dug in to a spot she found on her chest one night on the couch only to find out, to her horror, that someone having a conversation outside saw the whole ordeal.
She added: "I sat there with my boob out and sort of being quite smug thinking well people can't see in and stuff. I've been staring at people in the past being a proper nosey b****.
