The competition on the songs list, however, saw Wallen take the lead with his guitar-driven single “Last Night” holding atop the songs list for a ninth week. Looking at the numbers, “Last Night” drew 66 million airplay audience impressions and 33 million streams while Swift’s “Karma” remix featuring Bronx rapper Ice Spice inched close in streams, earning 23 million, but fell behind in airplay audience impressions, where it tallied 38 million.

It wasn’t a close call, as Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” album registered 126,000 units to slip to No. 2. If it hadn’t been Swift toppling Wallen, it almost could have been somewhere else. The country star’s long-standing smash was nearly in a tie with Lil Durk’s “Almost Healed,” which came in third with 125,000 units.

It becomes the first country album in 30 years to spend that many weeks there, nearing a 17-week record set by Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Some Gave It All” (which boasted the hit single “Achy Breaky Heart”) back in 1992. The 36-song set collected the equivalent of 129,000 sales in the latest tracking week, with 163 million streams, according to the tracking service Luminate. Wallen’s “Last Night” single simultaneously adds an eighth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 33 million streams and 65 million radio airplay audience impressions.

Jonas Brothers have announced their massive 35-date ‘Five Albums, One Night’ North American tour for this summer.Following the band’s Broadway residency which saw them perform one album from their discography in its entirety each night and their planning for their Yankee Stadium five albums, one-night show, the brothers have decided that instead of doing a one-off show, they will take the Five Albums, One Night show across North America.The 35-date run is set to kick off on August 12 with two nights at Yankee Stadium in New York City. From there, the band will spend the following two months making their way through North America making stops at Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Arlington’s Globe Life Field and Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, Toronto’s Rogers Centre.

The event was held to honour Byrne, filmmaker Spike Lee and real estate lawyer, Claire Wood.St Vincent, aka Annie Clark, performed a short set of songs at the event including ‘New York’, ‘Los Ageless’ and ‘Dancing With A Ghost’ from her 2018 album ‘Masseduction‘ before joining forces on stage with Byrne to cover ‘Chemical Love’ from the Jungle Fever soundtrack – a film directed by Lee.Speaking about their decision to cover the song, Byrne said: “We kind of wanted to tie Spike into this somehow, so this is a song from Jungle Fever, specifically ‘Chemical Love’ by Stevie Wonder,” he explained.“It takes a little bit of nerve for us to do it,” Byrne added.
