More than 14,000 fines issued for breaking lockdown laws with Thames Valley the worst offenders.
A total of 14,244 fines were given by police forces in England and Wales for alleged breaches of the coronavirus laws up to May 11, the National Police Chiefs' Council said.
Of the fines, 13,445 were handed out in England and 799 in Wales.
