Police are appealing for the help of the public to trace a 53-year-old man reported missing from Ayr.
Kirk Hutchenson is believed to have left his home in the Castlehill area of the town around 8am on Monday. He is described as around 5ft 11 ins, of medium build, with light brown hair and a beard.
Kirk is believed to have taken his vehicle, a white Citan Mercedes van, registration DF66 ELW.
Sergeant John Hurren “Concerns are growing for Kirk’s welfare and we are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to get in touch. Likewise, if anyone has seen Kirk’s van in the Ayr area or further afield, please let us know.
“If he learns of this appeal we would also encourage Kirk to make contact with us or his family so we know he is safe and well.”
Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1406 of Tuesday, 31 October, 2023.
