Missguided on the brink of collapse with suppliers owed millions

Missguided has been bought out of administration by Mike Ashley's Frasers Group.

Missguided has appointed administrators after suppliers filed to shut it down over unpaid debts of millions of pounds.The fashion brand called in Teneo Financial Advisory on Monday 30 May to sell its business and assets after clothing supplier JSK Fashions issued a winding-up petition on 10 May. According to The Guardian, 140 jobs are thought to be at risk, while a source told the publication that over 80 people have already been made redundant.

Missguided has fallen into administration after failing to secure a last-minute buyer - putting over 300 Manchester based jobs at risk.

Tributes have been paid to a beloved delivery driver who died at home following a heart attack. Ikhlaq Ahmed, 59 worked for popular takeaway Florida Chicken in Oldham town centre.

Bring Me The Horizon‘s Oli Sykes has spoken about how the band were received by the media during their earlier days.Over the past decade, the Sheffield metal titans have gone on to become one of the most popular bands in British rock. However, according to frontman Sykes, it wasn’t always like that.Speaking in a recent interview with Kerrang!, Sykes recalled how BMTH were portrayed by the media when they were first gaining popularity.“Our band was kind of branded as a Mötley Crüe-esque bunch of fucking dickheads,” Sykes said.
