Joe Otterson TV Reporter “Minx” Season 2 has an official premiere date at Starz. Now that the period comedy has officially moved over from HBO Max, the second season will premiere on July 21 at midnight on the Starz app, app and all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms. On linear, it will debut on Starz at 9 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and Canada. The first season is currently available to stream on the Starz app. “Minx” is set in 1970s Los Angeles. Per the official description, the series “centers around Joyce (Ophelia Lovibond), an earnest young feminist who joins forces with a low-rent publisher (Jake Johnson) to create the first erotic magazine for women. In season two, Doug and Joyce grapple with Minx’s explosive success, which brings more money, fame and temptation than either of them know how to handle.”
The cast for the series also includes Idara Victor as Tina, Jessica Lowe as Bambi, Lennon Parham as Shelly, Oscar Montoya as Richie, and Elizabeth Perkins as Constance. “Minx” was created by Ellen Rapoport, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. Paul Feig and Dan Magnante executive produce for Feigco Entertainment. Ben Karlin and Rachel Lee Goldenberg also executive produce, with Goldenberg having directed the pilot. Johnson serves as a co-executive producer. “Minx” is produced by Lionsgate Television. “Minx” aired its first season on HBO Max beginning in March 2022, renewing the show in May. But in December, HBO Max canceled the show just before Season 2 was to finish filming in a cost-cutting move, while also pulling Season 1 off the service.

CBS has set premiere dates for its summer slate of reality television programming, including three returning and one new series. “Secret Celebrity Renovation” kicks off the lineup with a July 28 premiere followed by the Aug. 2 debut of “Big Brother” Season 25. The all-new musical game show “Superfan” will launch on Aug. 9, and finally “The Challenge: USA” returns for its second season on Aug. 10. “Big Brother’s” 25th season will debut with a special 90-minute episode on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. ET while a group of new Houseguests arrive at the “Big Brother” house. Following its premiere, the series will air on Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. followed by Thursdays at 9 p.m. featuring live evictions.

The second season of the “Sex and the City” followup will bow on June 22. The announcement was made at the Warner Bros. Discovery upfront presentation at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday. It had previously been reported that the show would return in June but no solid date had been set. In the show’s first season, overseen by executive producer Michael Patrick King, the worlds of Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) expanded when new characters played by Nicole Ari Parker, Sarita Choudhury, Karen Pittman and Sara Ramírez were added to the ensemble. John Corbett will also appear in Season 2, reprising the role of Aidan.

The series aired its 13th season between August and October 2022. Season 14 of “Archer” will debut on FXX with two new episodes beginning at 10 p.m. ET/PT and stream the next day on Hulu. The show has long been a cornerstone of FX’s comedy lineup. It originally debuted on the network in 2009 and moved over to FXX in 2017.
