Searching for The One. Minka Kelly has had a series of high-profile relationships throughout the course of her career.
As she got her start on Friday Night Lights in 2006, the actress began a secret romance with her costar Taylor Kitsch. In her 2023 memoir, Tell Me Everything, Kelly recalled her relationship with her on-screen love interest as “toxic” as it affected her bond with the rest of the cast — which also included Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, Aimee Teegarden, Zach Gilford and more.

We were young and had very few tools to handle our emotions and personal grievances,” the Roommate star penned. “On the days we had to work together and were broken up, he didn’t want to be in the hair and makeup trailer at the same time I was. We couldn’t ride in the van together from base camp to set for the same reason. On those days, the tension on set was high and everyone felt the awkwardness.”
Following her split from Kitsch, Kelly began to date Derek Jeter in 2008 and they dated for three years. The pair called it quits in 2011 and the former Yankees player moved on with his now-wife Hannah Jeter. The Euphoria actress had a brief romance with Wilmer Valderrama in 2012. Kelly and the That ‘70s Show alum rekindled their romance in 2016 before calling it quits for good that same year.

Michaela Zee editor Opportunity Network honoree Trevor Noah shared a piece of business advice at the 16th annual Night of Opportunity Gala on Wednesday night. “Sometimes you don’t realize that you’re taking an opportunity away because you don’t see yourself in that other person,” Noah told the fundraiser’s dining hall. “My honest advice to you would be just to see yourself beyond yourself. Deconstruct yourself to your core parts — what makes you who you are — and then find people like that because they will walk the path that you did.” “They won’t be your gender, they won’t be your race, they won’t be your nationality,” he continued. “But you will find the bald white man in every Black young woman.”

Brian Steinberg Senior TV Editor Comedian Roy Wood Jr. did something many guests at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner forget to do: celebrate journalism. In a series of funny remarks that took on everything from Don Lemon to Fox News Channel’s massive $787.5 million settlement to Dominion Voting to President Biden’s age, Wood devoted significant time to calling for support for local journalism, noting that reporters working for regional and local media outlets are often the first to spot malfeasance or something wrong. He also mentioned his father’s work in local radio and his mother’s career in education. The comments added a personal touch to the proceedings, which are organized each year by the White House Correspondents Association and meant to call attention to the mission of holding government officials accountable in reporting meant to be consumed by the American public.
