Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson was forced to defend her fiancé Ryan Libbey after a post to her Instagram Story was branded as 'toxic' and sparked concern from worried fans.
The ex reality star, 33, took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal her hunky beau, also 33, had attached a note warning her away from eating a bar of chocolate, insisting "this is not allowed." It sparked concern among her 1.4 million Instagram followers with some messaging her privately to tell her that Ryan's behaviour was 'toxic'. It left Louise with no choice but to explain that her fitness instructor fiancé was looking out for her and reminding her of the negative impact that chocolate could have on her health following her ulcerative colitis diagnosis.
Louise, who has a form of the inflammatory bowel disease, first took to Instagram to share the pic of the chocolate bar.
The message attached to it read: "This is not allowed.
Think about your gut/butt". Louise posted it to her Story alongside the writing: "Came back to the loo too…" She then admitted that she'd already snacked on some of the product, showing the half-eaten chocolate to her eagle-eyed followers and confessing: "Oops.
I already opened this one." Then Louise posted a screenshot of a message she'd received from a fan. A user wrote: "I love you guys.
This feels toxic though".
Louise then clarified that Ryan's post-it note was actually a sweet reminder of her health condition. She replied: "FYI he’s referring to my butt because I have horrendous butt problems with my inflammatory bowel disease.
We stopped caring about the shape of my butt a long time ago,” alongside a string of crying-with-laughter emojis. Louise, who gave birth to her son Leo, in November 2021, then shared a video
