Mark Wright says it 'couldn't be further from truth' as he defends 'incredible' wife Michelle Keegan in rare comments

Mark Wright appears to have defended Michelle Keegan from critics as he raved about her latest career move in a gushing social media post. The former The Only Way is Essex star proved he is his wife's biggest supporter as she's busy promoting her latest starring role.
The actress is currently on the promotional trail for her new starring role in Netflix's latest thriller. Stockport-born Michelle spent much of last year filming around Manchester and Cheshire for Fool Me Once, the latest Netflix adaptation of bestselling author Harlan Coben's book.
The eight-part series landed on the streaming platform on New Year's Day (Monday, January 1) and sees Michelle portraying the lead role of Maya Stern. Plenty of people have already binge-watched the series with the latest of Harlan's adaptations already topping Netflix's current most-watched list in the UK.

Taking to Instagram, Mark has now publically supported Michelle as he spoke about her hard work and dedication behind the scenes to make the series what it is alongside her co-stars and the series' crew.
Sharing a string of stills of Michelle taken from the series, the TV and radio star penned: "I can’t tell you how happy and proud I am for this incredible woman I call my wife. It’s hard for people outside to see the work that goes in to an actors life behind the scenes to get to the top. People might think that it comes easy, they just roll up and do their job but it couldn’t be further from the truth."
