Meghan Markle could be set to return to acting, after it was revealed that Suits creator Aaron Korsh has scripted a new show which includes a part perfect for the Duchess. Meghan, 42, found fame as an actress prior to marrying Prince Harry, 39, in 2018.
She is best known for starring in hit US series Suits as Rachel Zane, but also appeared in shows such as 90210, General Hospital and CSI: Miami. The Duchess left acting behind after joining the Royal Family, but it's now been rumoured that she could be persuaded to return to the industry, especially with Aaron's Suits spin-off show in the works.
The LA-based spin-off show focuses on the lives of people working in a Hollywood law farm.
The show includes a character named Erica, who is an African-American career-focused Californian girl in her 30s who is 'smarter than everyone' and enjoys an eventful personal life.
The part looks to be a perfect fit for Meghan, and it's caused speculation that she could be persuaded to return to acting for the role. The speculation comes after rumours emerged of Meghan reprising her role as Rachel Zane in Suits, with it being considered a "smart career move" by PR experts.
It's also been suggested that Meghan could negotiate a fee between £235,000-£314,000 per episode if she returns to Suits. However, PR expert Ryan McCormick has warned the Duchess of Sussex against "getting greedy", but returning to the show could still be a smart career move.
Speaking to The Mirror, he explained: "Returning to Suits would be a good move for Meghan because it anchors her to a successful television series. Being directly involved and associated with projects that are positively viewed is terrific for her image and can also insulate her a bit when facing
